The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health has initiated an endowed chair to recognize the extraordinary achievements of Daniel M. Albert, MD, MS. Dan is a faculty member in Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, and served as its chair from 1992-2002. He is currently the Emmett A. Humble/Retina Research Foundation Distinguished Director of the UW Eye Research Institute.
