Registration is Open for Cycle for Sight 2017!
Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at the SERF, Nat & Princeton Club West
Cycle for Sight riders raise funds to support research conducted by UW-Madison’s McPherson Eye Research Institute to prevent, treat and cure blinding diseases. Participants ride on spinning bikes for one hour-long session. You can participate as an individual or team up with friends, family and coworkers, with trained instructors to lead your ride. Anyone can join in, from beginning to advanced riders!
Riders are encouraged to collect donations from friends, family & colleagues to help support vision research. Last year's ride raised $35,000, with the top fundraising team, Kenzi's Team, exceeding $6,000! There are great prizes for the two top fundraising teams: A Precor Rally Spinner Bike for the top team (a $2400 value, donated by Direct Fitness Solutions and Precor), and a Magnus Indoor Trainer for the second place team (a $600 value, donated by Saris Cycling).

2017 Cycle for Sight Prizes
This year's Cycle for Sight ride, which took place on Saturday, March 12th at the Princeton Club West and the Nat and SERF on the UW-Madison campus, raised $35,000 for vision research at the McPherson Eye Research Institute. Our annual indoor cycling fundraiser was a great opportunity to meet and ride with others in the community vested in the fight against blindness.
Last year's top fundraising team, Kenzi's Team, was once again the first place team, raising $6350. Kenzi's Team had participating riders as far away as Kuala Lumpur. The Blind Take Off team came in second, with $5265 raised; they were followed by the Retinal Research Allstars, with $3230. Two dozen other teams participated, with many of them raising over $500 per team. You can find a list of all participating teams on our registration page.
We're very grateful for the support of all our participants and donors, and hope that everyone enjoyed the ride!
