Research
I study learning, including visual perceptual learning. I am curious about what individual differences determine who transfers their learning better, whether there are different styles or patterns of learning and transfer that emerge among groups of people, and how performance in visual perceptual learning compares to learning in other domains. I’m also somewhat interested in illusions, heuristics in visual processing, and the ways context, attention, and mental state influence perceptual construction of reality.
