Research
Kendall Scholly investigates how humans intuitively infer the material and physical properties of solid objects (‘things’), as well as liquids and granular materials called (‘stuff’). Her lab conducts behavioral and functional neuroimaging (fMRI) experiments to uncover how we visually reason about our physical environment and to map out the representational and functional organization of the brain’s computations underlying this ability.
