Research
Dr. Vogel’s research involves the study of the synaptic plasticity and remodeling in the visual system. She works on identifying new molecular mechanisms related to the development of retinal ganglion cell degeneration in glaucoma. She aims to execute novel studies comparing specific cell types and the fine mechanisms of disease development, as well as to identify new genetic elements of risk.
