Research Interests
Sara A. Adelman has worked in laboratories conducting vision sciences related research since her undergraduate studies, as an SVM summer research scholar in Dr. McLellan’s glaucoma pathophysiology lab and in graduate school. She received her DVM and MS from UW-Madison in 2018 and completed a residency program in comparative (veterinary) ophthalmology at the University of California-Davis. Her professional interests include glaucoma, ocular surface disease, and ophthalmic surgery. She is now located at the Vet Vision Center in Lambertville, NJ.

pursuing a Masters degree during a year’s mentored research as a veterinary student, mapping patterns of retinal ganglion cell loss in an animal model of glaucoma.
