Research
Alejandra Padilla’s research at revolves around using vision in virtual and natural environments. More specifically, she is interested in how gait and eye movement patterns differ in virtual and natural environments. If gait and eye movement patterns prove to be not significantly different, she will be able to use virtual reality technologies as an assessment tool in conjunction with the gait mat to better assess fall risk.
