Research Interests
Chelsea Andrews studies early visual development, with a long-term goal of understanding how visual attention in infancy and early childhood relates to later visuospatial cognitive skills. With regard to her visual research interests and experiences, she is currently studying the actions systems of vision and touching/pointing and how the two provide us with information on attentional development across the lifespan. In particular, she is most interested in how visual tasks utilized with infants and young children can be scaled up for use with older children and adults through the use of eye-tracking.
