Research Interests
Complicated forms of spastic paraplegia often result in optic atrophy, although a mechanistic understanding of this phenomenon remains unclear. The Audhya lab has generated a new rodent model of this disease using CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing and aims to understand the underlying causes of optic nerve degeneration.
