Research Interests
Dr. Blodi’s research interests center around clinical trials for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal diseases. She currently serves as lead investigator for the AREDS2 project, which is investigating the effects of lutein and zeaxanthin and/or omega-3 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids on macular degeneration, among other studies.
