Ms. Ebbinghaus is involved in several projects to further understanding of synaptic connections, cell morphologies, and interactions during development and disease states in the retina. The models she is currently working with have translational value to retinitis pigmentosa, night-blindness, developmental deficiencies, and diabetic retinopathy.
