Research Interests
Dr. Dyer’s research encompasses computer vision, image processing, medical image analysis, and image-based modeling and rendering. His studies have focused mainly on shape and image representations for computer vision, with prominent contributions on topics such as quadtrees, aspect graphs, pyramid algorithms, 3D scene reconstruction by voxel coloring, view synthesis, object recognition, and visual exploration. He heads the Wisconsin Computer Vision Group.
