Research Interests
Felicia Duke’s interest in lab animal medicine began when she was working as a husbandry technician at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee during college. Since then, she has worked in neuroendocrinology, neurosurgery, and behavioral psychology labs using many different animal models, and was certified as a Laboratory Animal Technician. She received her veterinary training at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and received a year of post-doctoral training in ocular pathology with the Comparative Ocular Pathology Laboratory of Wisconsin. Her professional interests include comparative ocular pathology, animal models of ophthalmologic disease, iatrogenic disease, and tumorogenesis.
