Research Interests
Marshall Flax retired from the Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired, where he worked since 1992 – most recently as Director of Vision Rehabilitation Services. He now provides orientation and mobility services as founder and owner of Fork in the Road Vision Rehabilitation Services. A Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist, Marshall is nationally recognized for his work in this area and has authored several articles and co-authored a book on the subject. His professional affiliations include Honorary Associate with the University of Wisconsin Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and membership on the Board of Directors of the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (2001-06).
