Research
Dr. Froines’ research centers on retinal imaging in age-related macular degeneration and related retinal diseases, with particular emphasis on ultrawidefield imaging, geographic atrophy quantification, and longitudinal disease progression. He has contributed to NIH-supported epidemiologic studies, translational imaging research, and clinical trials through his work with the Wisconsin Reading Center.
