Dr. Pickett’s research focuses on three areas of vision: (1) the use of VR environments to support rehabilitative modalities for older adults, (2) the extent to which vision effects motor control in complex but frequently used motor control experiences such as dual-task walking, cooking, shopping, etc., and (3) possible modifications that can be implemented to accommodate individual visual characteristics to make telehealth appointments more successful.
