Research
My research focuses on the interplay between science, media, and the public. I am particularly
interested in the visual aspect of (effective) science communication and the role of visual art in
communicating science to the public. Most recently, I collaborated with award-winning artist and
curator to examine how artistic visualizations of scientific data may outperform conventional
data graphs in mitigating the division in political partisans’ perceived relevance of climate
change.
