Research
My research has primarily focused on investigating the metabolic mechanisms underlying retinal health and disease. Our lab utilizes mass spectrometry-based metabolomics, histology, OCT, and ERG to investigate retinal function and disease mechanisms. I have contributed to projects examining retinal and RPE metabolism, nutrient utilization, and metabolic alterations associated with retinal degeneration and systemic disease.
