Research Interests
Dr. Bilge Mutlu is Director of the Wisconsin Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory.

His research aims to build robotic technologies that assist and collaborative with people, including robotic assistants for individuals with disabilities, robotic collaborators for physical work, and robotic learning companions for children.

His work on vision includes building predictive, generative, and simulation models of human gaze in complex, dynamic scenarios for healthy individuals and individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and using these models to control the gaze behaviors of robotic assistants and collaborators to improve human interaction with artificial systems.
