Dr. Torné Escudé’s research focuses on understanding the effect of LTBP-2 mutations (which in humans cause a variety of ocular diseases that range from congenital malformations and ectopia lentis to adult-onset open angle glaucoma and pseudoexfoliation syndrome) in the anterior segment of the eye using different molecular techniques, as well as advanced imaging modalities, in a spontaneous large animal model of glaucoma.
