Research Interests
The overarching focus of Dr. Tiwari’s research is to develop artificial intelligence and machine learning strategies towards personalized diagnostics, prognostics, and treatment evaluation in oncology and non-oncology applications. Specifically, she wishes to identify quantitative imaging markers to address clinical questions such as: What to treat? Which treatment to give? Did the treatment work? Her lab has so far focused on developing these approaches in the context of applications in adult and pediatric brain tumors, stroke, and multiple sclerosis. She is expanding her work to eye and vision disorders.
