Research Summary
As I’ve developed as a scientist and progressed in my research, the questions I find the most compelling come from understanding the structural basis of protein function and translating that knowledge into the design of therapeutic peptides. By integrating structural biology with bioengineering, my research aims to develop innovative treatments that address complex biological challenges. Currently, my work focuses on engineering lipopeptide-based nanoparticles that can deliver base-editors to preserve and restore vision in models of inherited retinal dystrophy.
