Research Summary
Andrew is an ophthalmology research intern with the Mowat Lab working on projects investigating age-related changes of the canine eye, with the goal of better understanding how aging impacts canine vision and evaluating a companion canine model of human aging and vision. Throughout veterinary school and his rotating internship, he has worked on various research endeavors including projects investigating the link between Alzheimer’s Disease and glaucoma in mouse and feline models, canine glaucoma, and novel digital methods of gonioscopy in veterinary species.
