Research Interests
Dr. Leandro Teixeira is the Director of the Comparative Ocular Pathology Laboratory of Wisconsin (COPLOW) in the School of Veterinary Medicine. He is responsible for collaborative research in the academic setting through the McPherson Eye Research Institute (MERI) and corporate setting through the Comparative Ophthalmic Research Laboratory (CORL) and associated LLC, Ocular Services on Demand (OSOD). His main research currently involves morphological and ultrastructural assessment of animal models of glaucoma and retinal neovascular diseases, ocular immunology in animal models, and morphological changes and comparative aspects of spontaneous ocular animal disease.
