Research
Dr. Tian’s research focused on two primary areas: (1) aqueous humor dynamics and related anterior segment physiology using a primate model, and (2) the prevention of secondary cataract following lens surgery using a rabbit model. His research sought to further understand the pathophysiology of glaucoma and the mechanism of the post-operative secondary cataract formation, as well as investigate and develop new pharmacological therapies for these ocular diseases in human eyes.
