Yong-Seok Song is interested in the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate vascular development and angiogenesis in the eye. He has been investigating the role of the CYP1B1 gene in retinal endothelium redox homeostasis and regulation of angiogenesis by implementing in vivo mouse models and in vitro cellular and molecular studies.
