Research
Dr. Zhu’s main research interests include statistical machine learning, natural language processing, and computational cognitive psychology. Dr. Zhu is looking for data modeling and data mining problems (e.g., classification, clustering, anomaly detection) in medical, neuroscience, cognitive science, and other research related to vision. He also works on “Text-to-Picture” synthesis, which automatically generate pictures from natural language sentences so that the picture conveys the main meaning of the text.
